Pressure and rush

We live in a world that constantly teaches us to do, solve, produce and keep moving forward.

It leaves us stressed, tired and anxious, always in a hurry, thinking about what already happened or what might happen next, but rarely about how to inhabit the present calmly and consciously, and experience life fully.

Is H.ART for you?

H.ART is designed for you if you recognize yourself in the following experiences.

When you need to slow down and restore balance

  • You wake up feeling as though your day has already started at full speed.
  • Your mind never seems to stop, even when you try to rest.
  • You are going through a difficult time and would appreciate a supportive space for reflection and creative expression.
  • You want to slow down, but you're not sure how.
  • Your thoughts often remain caught in the past or consumed by worries about the future.

When you want to reconnect with your creativity or simply feel curious to explore

  • You would like to develop your creativity without the pressure of mastering a technique or producing something "perfect."
  • You have spent years strengthening your analytical side and miss connecting with your imagination.
  • Your work demands logic, structure and productivity, and you feel that a creative part of yourself has been put on hold.
  • You are curious about exploring new ways of expressing yourself through the arts.
  • Life has become routine, and it has been a long time since you did something simply because it brought you joy.
  • You would like to give yourself a dedicated space for presence, creativity and reflection.

When you want to know yourself more deeply

  • You find it difficult to identify what you are feeling or what you truly need.
  • You would like to strengthen your connection with your intuition and inner world.
  • You feel you have lost clarity about the direction you want your life to take.
  • You are navigating a period of change and want to understand yourself more deeply.
  • You spend much of your time taking care of others' needs and very little time listening to your own.

What can we do?

H.ART was born as a pause within that constant rhythm of pressure and rush.

A refuge for self-discovery where, through my four-pillar H.ART method for cultivating wellbeing, I help you come back to yourself, at your own pace.

  1. 1We begin in calm.
  2. 2I help you listen to what is happening inside you.
  3. 3You express what you have been carrying.
  4. 4You explore new ways of relating to yourself, your time, your emotions, your creativity and your everyday life.
  5. 5You find your own resources for navigating life's difficult moments.
  6. 6You discover ways of relating to life through rituals that nourish you or bring you joy.
  7. 7You create a more balanced life, with a routine that helps you rest and return to yourself despite the chaos.

How does it work? · The 4 H.ART pillars

A trauma-informed integrative methodology primarily based on Expressive Arts Therapy.

H.ART supports your body and mind in moving toward a greater sense of balance, fostering a deeper connection with your emotions and cultivating self-awareness, so you can live a life that is more aligned with your authentic self. It brings together four evidence-informed approaches supported by research in neuroscience, psychology and the behavioral sciences.

You don't need to know how to draw, write or meditate, consider yourself a creative person, or hold an important job title. You only need to be you.

It's about letting ourselves be carried by the creative process, presence and pause, as a way to explore, express and listen to yourself without criticism or expectations.

H.ART is neither traditional clinical therapy nor coaching. It is a supportive process that integrates tools from both worlds.

Pillar 01 · Expressive Arts Therapy

Drawing, painting, writing, movement, photography, plastic arts and music.

Each becomes a doorway into feelings and experiences that are often difficult to put into words. The goal is not to create beautiful artwork: the invitation is to create freely, without judging the outcome.

The question is not: "Do I need to know how to make art?" The deeper question is: "What wants to emerge?"

Pillar 02 · Mindfulness

Returning to the present is also a way of returning to yourself.

Practices inspired primarily by Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to cultivate presence, attention and a more conscious relationship with each moment. We learn to observe thoughts, emotions and sensations without having to react to them right away.

Pillar 03 · EcoNIDRA™

A space to let go of the pressure to do, and allow yourself to simply be.

A practice of deep rest and body awareness based on Yoga Nidra and Forest Bathing, inviting you to slow down and enter a state of deeper rest and presence while connecting with nature.

Pillar 04 · Digital Wellness

We explore our relationship with technology and the digital habits that shape our everyday lives.

It's not about demonizing your phone, social media or technology. It's about asking ourselves:

Is technology serving my life, or is my life starting to organize itself around technology?

Together we create mindful strategies to reclaim attention, presence and mental space.

The paths

Some examples of what you could experience in both private sessions and workshops.

Stabilization

I create a space of respect, care and trust that supports a sense of safety throughout the process.

  • You will learn practices that support nervous system regulation and encourage greater calm, making it easier to be present in the here and now.
  • Both individual sessions and workshops follow a trauma-informed approach: you decide what you would like to share and what you prefer to keep private, participating in a way that respects your own pace and experience.
  • You reconnect with moments of rest, renewal and presence.

Exploration & Expression

You begin to discover what you are feeling and express what words alone cannot always communicate.

  • By approaching your emotions and inner experiences without judgment, you cultivate greater self-awareness, support your wellbeing and make decisions that feel more aligned with who you are.
  • Creative expression offers a safe way for experiences that have remained unspoken to begin finding their own voice.

Personal Growth

You explore your strengths, revisit your personal story and begin integrating what you have discovered into everyday life.

  • Rather than allowing your past to define you, you begin making choices that reflect who you want to become.
  • You continue strengthening your inner resources so you can meet life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience and self-trust.

About Maureen

My name is Maureen Eggleton, and I created H.ART as a space where people can pause, reconnect with themselves and explore their inner world through creativity.

My work integrates Expressive Arts Therapy, mindfulness, EcoNIDRA™ and Digital Wellness into a thoughtful, personalized process that supports self-awareness, emotional regulation and personal growth.

I am a Certified Expressive Arts Guide, trained by Jessica Waters through a CTAA-accredited program (United Kingdom), a Certified EcoNIDRA™ Teacher, a Digital Wellness Coach, and an internationally published visual artist with more than ten years of creative experience.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I guided more than 6,000 online students from around the world in exploring experimental self-portrait photography as a pathway to creativity and self-expression. That experience reaffirmed my belief that creativity can become a powerful way of reconnecting with ourselves.

I have also completed additional training in Expressive Arts Therapy with CREATAR, a member institution of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. My work follows a trauma-informed approach, honoring each person's pace, story and lived experience.

What does the process look like?

There is no fixed number of sessions. Every person's process is unique.

  1. 01

    Initial assessment (free)

Before we begin, I conduct an initial assessment to better understand your current situation, identify the most appropriate path or workshops to start from, and design a personalized plan based on your needs, goals and interests.

  2. 02

    Recommended frequency

To support continuity and allow time for reflection and integration between sessions, I generally recommend meeting once a week. The frequency can always be adapted to your needs, availability and personal pace.

  3. 03

    Session duration

    Individual sessions: approximately 60 minutes.
Group workshops: length varies with the theme and format, with a minimum of 2 hours.

  4. 04

    A personalized journey

As we move forward, your plan can be adjusted to reflect your evolving needs, goals and personal rhythm. The three paths are not always linear: some people spend more time in one path before moving into the next, and that is a natural part of the process.

  5. 05

    Between sessions

Whenever appropriate, you will receive personalized creative invitations to continue exploring, reflecting and integrating what emerged during our work together. These are not assignments to complete, but opportunities to deepen your experience.
